Week 1
Why´s and motivations
In the first week we go through the negative consequences of Hypothalamic Amenorrhea (HA) and not having a period. With this knowledge as base, we uncover your inner motivation to recover. Recovery is a tough process, we will return to your motivations several times throughout HA recovery and beyond to stay committed.
Week 2
Food and nutrition
In this week you learn all about food, nutrition, micros, macros, meal planning, regular eating, mechanical eating and intuitive eating. We create an actionable plan in terms of your food intake that will help guide you.
Week 3
Exercise and movement
Week three is about exercise, movement and physical activity. We look at where you are at currently in terms of movement, and together analyze what adaptions that is advisable for you to benefit your HA recovery.
Week 4
Mind and spirit
Early-bird, goal-oriented, disciplined, self-motivated, ambitious, results-driven, organized, likes routines. Some of these personality traits might have contributed to you developing HA. In this week we look at how we can use these qualities to our advantage in recovery.
Week 5
You and your body
Your body goes through natural changes throughout life. By learning to accept and respect your body at every stage you can reduce the risk of relapse or falling back into harmful habits. In this week you will get access to tools that help you embrace and respect your body. You will learn to challenge beauty standards, cope with weight gain and how to prioritize well-being over external appearance.
Week 6
Cycle tracking
Your first period is an important milestone on your recovery journey. But the journey does not end there. The menstrual cycle plays a vital role in your health. And by tracking your cycle you can make informed decisions when you start implementing changes in terms of food and exercise post your first cycle. This week you will get all the knowledge you need about cycle tracing.
Week 7
Signs you are on the right track
Already within the first weeks of Hypothalamic Amenorrhea Recovery the first small signs of improvement should introduce themselves. This week you learn about signs to look out for to know that you are on the right track.
Week 8
What´s next?
The final week provides you with the tools, confidence, and self-reliance to stand on your own feet after completing the Hypothalamic Amenorrhea Recovery program. You will learn how to embrace your autonomy, maintain healthy habits and create a supportive environment.
